Welder

Pay: 18-20/hr

Shift : 1st shift - 6am-2:30pm - M-F

Description:

• Perform MIG welding on fabricated metal parts for the production of both standard and specialized products.

• Follow complicated blueprints and other engineered drawings and setup machine to necessary specifications.

• When not welding, seeks out other opportunities to help the team in any department that may need the extra help.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with MIG and setting up machines for light gauge metals (16 gauge to ¼").

• Requires full understanding of welding procedures like electrode size, current, arc length and voltage, travel speed and electrode angle.

• Requires thorough knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints along with the ability to convert this knowledge to obtain an efficient product.

• Must pass ASME certification in agreed upon time frame. Discuss with Supervisor at interview.
