    As a Water Project Manager associated with our Omaha, NE office, you'll have the chance to work on challenging projects related to stream restoration, stormwater management, drainage, collection system, water conveyance and storage, wastewater, and related transportation aspects for municipal, private, and state clients. Our teams commonly engage at the forefront of large, complex projects to help navigate the competing challenges of reliable water, wastewater, collection system, and water resources related projects.

    As a Project Manager you'll perform design engineering, project design staff oversight, quality control, client development, proposal preparation and sales pursuits for water related projects. You will be leading a multidiscipline design team and working directly with our clients to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies.

    Here's what you'll need :

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field

    • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) license or must be able to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire

    • At least 5 years of professional experience in water related engineering and related experience

    • Proven experience designing and leading small to large water related projects

    • Demonstrated ability to lead the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, model development and analysis, studies, proposals and/or reports

    • Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills

    Ideally, You'll Also Have:

    • Master's degree

    • Proven experience managing teams of design professionals

    • Local candidates with strong network among local clients in the region and a broad range of civil engineering related experience
