Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently looking for warehouse associates to join our team in the Rochester Hills, MI area. This is a 2nd shift position M-F in a warehouse environment. Please see below for more about this position.

Job Summary The candidate will be responsible for managing inventory by processing various types of freight information into computer systems and ensuring that materials are moved efficiently within a warehouse environment. They will handle shipping and receiving tasks such as unloading trucks, matching orders, and maintaining safety standards. Even Simpler: This person helps move boxes in a big storage place using a computer to keep track of where everything goes. They make sure that all the stuff coming in and going out is in the right place.

Skill Requirements Must-Have:

• Intermediate computer skills

• Data entry proficiency

• Knowledge of Excel for basic data processing

• Experience with shipping and receiving activities

• Understanding of warehouse safety protocols

Preferred

• Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry

• Forklift operation experience in a freight or Less-than-Truckload (LTL) environment

• Experience with loading and unloading trailers

Skill Education Computer Skills : These are essential abilities that allow an individual to effectively operate computers and related technology.

Data Entry : This refers to the process of inputting information into electronic formats by using word processing or data processing software.

Excel : A spreadsheet program by Microsoft that is used for recording data, performing calculations, and managing information.

Forklift Operation : The skill required to operate a powered industrial truck used to lift and move materials short distances.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.

• Experience performing accounting duties in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Demonstrates high quality work and detail oriented.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Details: $16.50 to $18.50 per hour
