Technical Data Analyst

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Technical Data Analyst to join the Merchandise Planning team supporting pricing strategy. This individual will be responsible for delivering pricing proposals to Merchants and DMMs by developing analyses aligned with their strategic goals.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of data analysis experience (merchandising/pricing/finance background is ideal)

Advanced SQL

o Experience running SQL queries and writing SQL scripts

Advanced Python and Tableau

Experience building dashboards from scratch pulling data from multiple data sources

Advanced Excel

o Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, Macros

Overall good business acumen and ability to communicate effectively

Ability to work independently and problem solve

Familiar with PowerPoint for data visualization

Ability to recognize how tasks rank in order of urgency to prioritize time Experience in retail industry

Coding bootcamp

Data Analytics certification null
