    INTRODUCTION:

    Boeing Global Services Maintenance Engineering is seeking a highly motivated, creative and experienced Support Engineering Data Specialist to fulfill the responsibilities of both supportability analysis and technical publications.

    The ideal candidate will valuate engineering data for supportability and maintainability of fielded equipment, aircraft subsystems, and components throughout product life cycle. Applies engineering technical standards, principles, and techniques to develop and sustain technical publications and logistics supportability analysis.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Knowledge of aviation related mechanical, electrical, avionics and support equipment

    • Analyze and evaluate engineering source data, vendor data, and customer data in order to design, prioritize, and develop technical data required to operate and maintain CH47 weapon systems

    • Analyze and evaluate impact of engineering changes on technical data

    • Develop and implement maintenance tasks, Trouble Shooting Procedures and Maintenance Operational Check (MOC's) Read, interpret & analyze engineering data, tool lists, Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) data and supporting databases

    • Extensive working knowledge of the CH47 systems operation and Army maintenance concept

    • Working knowledge of the CH47 Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) and Common Authoring Environment (CAE)

    • Working knowledge of SLICWAVE - Logistics Support Analyst (LSAR) and MIL-STD13882B

    • Familiarity with Boeing Engineering and Product Support processes

    • Assist with quality reviews and validations, conduct in-process reviews, and support verification

    • Communicate complex technical information to personnel while interfacing effectively with team partners, Integrated Product Team (IPT) members, customers and cross-functional disciplines

    This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Ridley Park, PA. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Confidential Clearance Post - Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • 3+ years of experience in Avionics installation

    • 3 + years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints

    • 3 + years of experience testing and troubleshooting avionics

    • 3+ years of experience performing aircraft structural and mechanical work

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Rotorcraft maintenance experience

    • Experience with Military Aircraft technical manuals and drawings

    • Experience analyzing and interpreting engineering data for inclusion into maintenance manuals and technical publications

    Typical Education:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).

    Summary pay range: $68,850 to $93,150
