Staff Accountant

Description We are offering a contract opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Denver, Colorado. This role focuses on processing customer credit applications and maintaining customer credit records in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate customer credit records.

• Resolving customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and addressing delinquent payments.

• Preparing customized and personalized payroll plans for customers.

• Analyzing and applying various employer leave pay policies within the payroll plan.

• Reconciling over/under payments by comparing payroll plans and leave benefit estimates with actual pay.

• Ensuring correct personalized payroll plans are calculated and displayed on the dashboard.

• Collaborating with internal teams through various channels such as instant message, email, video chat.

• Managing multiple tasks with attention to customers' payroll deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Must have experience in Payroll processing and management

• Demonstrable experience in Reconciliations is essential

• Possession of strong numerical and analytical skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk role is desirable

• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures is beneficial

• Familiarity with accounting software is advantageous

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
