Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr. Software Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Responsible for the development, integration, and maintenance of software level simulation components of a software development mainstream. Responsible for the development of application layer as well as complete software layer simulation environment foreach baseline release. Responsible for the integration and de-bugging of the simulation environment in a customer/product specific software baseline. Responsible for the development of test specifications to be used by the simulation environment. Will test case development and debugging for test execution/test evaluation tools, which includes support for existing simulation-based test campaigns, as well as virtualization of test campaigns currently targeting test benches, or in-vehicle testing. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Software Simulation Engineer, System Engineer, Software Engineer, System Architect or related occupation involving Hardware in the Loop (HIL) and Software in the Loop (SIL). Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Automotive embedded software design using C/C++ or MATLAB/Simulink. (2) Simulation environment development and usage including usage and development of CarSim or Car Maker models. (3) Automotive practices for design, validation and release of embedded safety-critical software. (4) Hardware in the Loop (HIL), specifically setting up HIL environment, developing test cases, debugging to a fault free system to perform testing. (5) Software in the Loop (SIL), specifically setting up SIL environment, developing test cases, debugging to a fault free system to perform testing. Telecommuting: Hybrid - 2 days remote.
