    Your New Role...

    As the Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) portfolio continues to grow - around the world and across platforms - the T&O team is building media technology and IT systems that meet the world class standard for which WBD is known for. T&O builds, implements, and maintains the business systems and technologies that are critical for delivering our products, while articulating the long-term technology strategy that will enable WBD's growing pay-tv, digital terrestrial, free-to-air, and online services to reach more audiences across various platforms.

    Within the GICS team, there has never been a busier or more urgent time to obtain the best talent for this critical function. With constant security threats and attacks occurring in companies around the globe and across all industries, we are expanding the team and continue to implement latest security tools and resources to protect the Company from ever-growing threats and malicious intent.

    Your Role Accountabilities...

    • Performing secure design reviews and threat modeling of our products and services, including consumer data platforms.

    • Enabling identification and mitigation o f security risks and vulnerabilities early in the SDLC.

    • Developing and implementing security best practices and standards for our engineering teams, providing guidance and training on secure coding and testing techniques.

    • Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other members of the GICS team to design and develop secure features and functionalities for our products and services.

    • Researching and evaluating new security technologies and tools, staying up to date with the latest security trends and threats.

    • Developing and maintaining security documentation, policies, and procedures

    • Supporting security incident investigation and response.

    Qualifications & Experiences...

    • Ability to work a hybrid model (3 days onsite) out of our Bellevue office.

    • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

    • At least 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on web, mobile, and/or backend service security.

    • Experience in using security tools and frameworks, such as OWASP, NIST, SANS, etc.

    • Experience with data security regulations and compliance, such as GDPR, CCPA.

    • Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and threats, such as XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, etc., and how to prevent and mitigate them.

    • Experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures, such as secure SDLC, threat modeling, risk management, etc.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

    • A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and intellectual curiosity, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.

    • Certifications such as CISSP, CRTSA, GDSA are a plus.

    In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $98,698.00 - $183,297.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
