  • Description

    Position performs echocardiogram testing per physician order, adhering to established departmental policy and procedure. Incumbent uses and maintains equipment per departmental policy and procedure, to ensure test quality, patient safety, and to prevent downtime interference with service provision. Incumbent annually reviews policy and procedure for fire/safety, code blue, disaster, and hazardous materials to assure safety of co-workers, patients, family/significant other, and self in the non-invasive vascular lab environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Must have completed an accredited cardiac sonographer program RDCS or RCS or the ability to obtain registry within 12 months of employment from an accredited sonography program. BLS required
