  • Title

    Software Tester

    KBR is looking to add a Software Tester to our team. This software tester will work alongside our team and Navy customer in an Agile environment to build and support their software suite.

    In This Role, You Will...

    • Design, develop, and execute test plans and procedures to ensure the high availability and performance of an Agile software development project

    • Work with the technical leads to coordinate and prioritize tasks via backlogs for planning sprints and schedules

    • Work with the team to ensure builds and baselines accurately reflect versions of software related to test phases

    • Ensure all testing documentation is produced and configuration controlled

    • Evaluate COTS/GOTS solutions for alternative methods of testing

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS

    Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen

    Clearance: Active S ecurity Clearance (Secret) or eligibility to gain a clearance.

    Education: AA/AS degree from an accredited college or university

    Experience

    • S oftware test execution in one or more of the following areas: system-level testing, system integration testing, user-acceptance testing, load testing, and automated test scripting/execution.

    • Experience working in an Agile environment

    • Experience with Team Foundation Server

    • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

    Highly Desired

    • Experience using Selenium

    • B.S in Computer Science with at least 5 years as a software tester

    • Test planning experience

    • Software experience with NAVAIR software projects

    • Working experience with NAVAIR Workflow Management System tools
