Software Test Engineer - Propulsion Controls

Description

Current propulsion and diagnostics control system engineers are still updating the current architecture vehicles to meet regulatory needs and are also working on designing software for the next-generation vehicle architecture using the newly defined toolset. This engineer will provide assistance to support in design verification and testing for a mixture of current and future vehicle architecture software.

• Conduct testing activities in Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), Bench, and Vehicle testing environments

• Perform unit testing in Ceedling, or Simulink Test, appropriately and ensure acceptance criteria and minimum code coverage metrics are met

• Execute tests, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues

• Ensure compliance with testing standards and procedures

• Generate automated test cases, where applicable

• Develop and maintain required tools and automation scripts to support the validation of programs in next-generation architecture

• Generate automated test cases for available next-generation specific DVMs
