(Senior) Safety Engineer - Fire Protection is responsible for: To support (lead) Fire Protection activities and team on a project related to Active, Passive and Fire and Gas Detection.

Preferred Experience (software, language, specific knowledge or expertise)

• Fire Protection Philosophy

• Active Fire Protection

Fire water demand calculation, Hydraulic calculations, FW layout, FW UFD &P&ID's, Heat radiation contours, monitoring covering, requisitions, etc.

• Passive Fire Protection

o Specifications, layouts

• Fire and Gas Detection

o Philosophy, Specifications, requisitions, layouts

Non-negotiables (Minimum criteria that are required for hire, used to shortlist applications)

Process Safety knowledge and experience;

Master's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or in another relevant engineering discipline;

Fire Protection capabilities for complex multi-office projects. EPC(m) project experience.

Familiar with International and European and Dutch rules and regulations related to Fire Protection and Safety Engineering.

Able to report in the Dutch Language to the Authorities to prepare the Uitgangs Punten Document (UPD)
