  • Our client is a large manufacturing organization that is seeking a Senior Operations Accountant to join their team due to growth!

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as finance/accounting lead for all aspects of fixed asset management; partnering with operations to manage assets-in-progress, asset additions, disposals, and overall tracking and maintenance of fixed assets register.

    • Appropriately identify and manage accounting for all leases within the organization.

    • Lead critical aspects of the month-end close process, including performing and approving various account recs.

    • Manage critical cost accounting tasks on a timely basis; completing standard cost setup for new items, rolling standard cost versions and creating revaluations as needed, as well as providing data and logic for allocation methodologies of overheads.

    • Prepare and propose inventory reserve in partnership with planning and operations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

    • 5+ years' preferably in a manufacturing or CPG.

    • Experience with NetSuite ERP system preferred.

    • Solid grasp of cost accounting principles including standard costs and BOMs.
