  • The Account Manager for Wolters Kluwer (WK) Legal and Regulatory is responsible for sales & retention activities in defined territories to support the execution of the Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory sales strategy. You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term relationships and ensuring a high level of satisfaction with your clients.

    Work with Healthcare Providers, Payers, Consultants, Insurance Companies, Corporations and State/Local Government Agencies to sell and maintain Wolters Kluwer Healthcare Regulatory & Coding Solutions.

    This position will work from a remote office and can be based anywhere in the U.S.

    Essential Duties and responsibilities

    • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits

    • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success

    • Own and coordinate all sales activities

    • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters

    • Manage regular communications with customers to ensure needs are met, address account problems/concerns and or suggestions.

    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

    • Proactively pursue step-up sales to existing customers to ensure that the subscription levels support customer usage.

    • Work with paired Account Executives to ensure customer success, retention and to identify new business opportunities

    • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

    • Track and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics

    • Leverage extensive industry, product, and customer knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction and renewal rates

    • Utilizes sales tech stack including ~~~, ~~~, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn/LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc. in daily sales & retention workflow

    • Maintains current records within ~~~ in accordance with company policies and expectations

    • Ability to network and expand network of contacts within each assigned account

    • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent experience

    Experience:

    • Proven track record of exceeding sales and retention targets

    • Solid understanding of business, financials, products/services and the market, preferably with a reputation for providing a level of expert knowledge within your industry.

    • Strong people skills, including the ability to partner both internally and externally

    • Ability to manage own territory/account and monitor resources accordingly

    • Closing skills

    • Demonstrated experience conveying value proposition to clients

    • Excellent presentation skills

    • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge and experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

    • Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management software.

    Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certification s:

    • Previous experience with ~~~ - Preferred

    • Previous Account Management experience with a cloud based/SaaS solution - Preferred

    Travel requirements

    • Some domestic travel required <10%
