    You will be part of our technology organization, working closely with other IT teams across Deloitte and will have an opportunity to build our next generation Cloud platform on a global level. You will work across various parts of Deloitte, build new teams, work with other countries, learn new technologies and have fun!

    You will be a hands-on manager for a team of SREs applying modern DevOps & SRE techniques operating a large-scale distributed application portfolio across multiple clouds. You are well versed in a large number of technologies and welcome new tools and techniques. You are able to work across multiple silo'd product/service teams to help transition into a unified managed services organization. You are always looking for patterns and ways to increase efficiency, eliminate downtime, optimize costs, and maintain performance at scale. You can manage and mentor team of SREs on day-to-day duties as well as work with leadership teams on strategic initiatives. You work to provide hands-on technical expertise to design, deploy, secure and optimize Cloud services. You are able to drive improvements in technical architecture and standards/process to deliver the best customer experience.

    You are expected to have leadership and Senior management experience, and also technical expertise to imagine and drive technology strategy, execution, and improvements across Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Pipeline, automate our infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, and build & deliver solutions supporting our global audit practice.

    Work You'll Do

    • Lead multiple teams of DevOps engineers who automate & build release pipelines, infrastructure and cloud platforms used by thousands of Deloitte professionals around the world.

    • Contribute to shaping our future DevOps strategy, teams, and platform

    • Provide leadership across our Managed services organizations in strategic functional areas

    • Partner and create strong relationships with our business leaders and other technology leaders

    • Manage end to end availability, security, and performance of mission-critical services

    • Embed security control design, implementation and testing into the DevOps practices

    • Drive improvements for the design, development and delivery of applications to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of solutions.

    • Drive systems engineering design and recovery by minimizing manual involvement and leading continuous improvements that create an operating environment that includes dynamically monitoring, alerting, and automated self-healing and recovery

    • Evaluates new technologies and makes recommendations on future directions, including vendor management

    • Create clear presentations and communication to stakeholders that highlight the impact of the issues and solutions to service disruptions. Communicate the state of reliability to prioritize technical debt & improvements on technology team roadmaps. Equally capable at presenting analyses and recommendations to leadership or discussing the technical merits of solutions with engineers and architects.

    • Lead by example, care for your team, and establish credibility with quality of your own and your teams technical execution

    • Own the day-to-day health, uptime, monitoring, and reliability of services

    • Lead, own, model and drive DevOps culture and behaviors

    • Practice and enforce Agile and Scrum methodologies

    Technology & Infrastructure

    The Technology and Infrastructure Organization works together to transform how ITS deploys technologies and services that meet the dynamic needs of Deloitte professionals and help increase their productivity.

    Qualifications

    • BS or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field

    • 10-15 years of relevant experience

    • Proven leader who thinks strategically, communicates with influence, and builds trusting relationships

    • Strong experience operating mission critical systems

    • Strong communicator who can build trusting relationships across teams and business units

    • Driver personality and proven delivery track record

    • Firm sense of accountability, ownership for end-to-end project lifecycle with solid project management and communication skills.

    • Experience with Cloud Computing knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure

    • Experience with capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning

    • Advanced understanding of distributed systems architecture

    • Experience problem solving issues on globally distributed systems and critical product service environments

    • Capable of technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and applications as needed, yet cognitively agile enough to have strategy discussions with leadership

    • Passionate for making things better and driving action

    • Brings new thinking to challenge existing technology and processes & drive change across the organization

    • Experience building, growing, and leading technical teams across geographies

    • Excellent at building relationships across teams and communicating for influence (written, verbal, and presentation)
