Registered Nurse (RN), On-Call

BAYADA Home Health is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse , RN, for an on-call position. This office services our adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis throughout Ocean County, NJ .

• Work a rotating schedule of 7 days on, then 7 days off.

• During the 7 days on, triage calls from 5pm to 8:30am and then perform emergency home health visits when necessary.

• Receive full time compensation and benefits but only work 26 weeks out of the year!

Prior home care experience strongly preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• On call - 5pm to 8:30am (triage calls and does visits when necessary) - 7 days on and then 7 days off

• Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories after business hours and during the weekend days and evenings.

• Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.

• Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.

• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.

• Performing client assessments as necessary.

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in NJ.

• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.

• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.

• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
