Registered Dietitian

Adecco Medical & Science is hiring a Registered Dietitian in Las Vegas, Nevada! This role is hybrid, with a mix of in person / onsite and work from home days. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Six-month contract, opportunity for extension or fulltime offer

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Some Saturdays as needed.

Pay: $34.18 to $36.18 an hour

Responsibilities of the Registered Dietitian:

• Research member-related health information to prepare for appointments.

• Educate members on health and wellness information related to disease processes.

• Use motivational interviewing techniques to help member identify and understand their intrinsic goals and engage in positive behavior change.

• Educate members on health plan resources and benefits and how to access.

• Document information (e.g., assessments, member interactions, referrals, follow-up plans) in relevant computer systems.

• Fax documentation to providers following visits with members.

• Communicate needs, issues, and concerns with supervisor and scheduling supervisor as needed.

Qualifications for the Registered Dietitian:

• Registered Dietitian through Commission on Dietetic Registration

• Licensed Dietitian in the state of Nevada

• At least one year working experience as a registered dietitian.

• One year counseling patients of all ages on a variety of health topics like weight management, diabetes, heart health, renal disease, child nutrition, GI disorders, food allergies, etc.
