Product Owner

Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Product Owner to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Common Access Platform (JCAP). The successful candidate will serve at the Fort Meade Maryland site. This position is contingent upon award.

The Product Owner is responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Agile Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team. Coordinating resources to include scheduling, range access, personnel, and space in

order to define the plan for each event. The Product Owner ensures the requirements for the Agile Team

are met, resources are available, stakeholders are engaged, and the event is ready for execution. This

candidate directly supports the Agile Team leader and may perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 12 Years with HS; 10 Years with AA; 8 Years with BS; 6 Years with MS; 4 Years with PhD

• Candidates with Armed Forces, college courses or Associate Degree, extensive certification, and additional experience are highly encouraged to apply.

• Top Secret SCI

• PMP Certification

• Two years of experience in software project management

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Master s Degree in a STEM subject, particularly systems engineering, network engineering, or cybersecurity OR Associates or Bachelors degree in computer science, or engineering or its equivalent with 10 years' relevant experience

• 5 years of Software Project Management

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $113080 - $192280

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
