As a Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing payroll using Paylocity software. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of payroll principles, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Managing the end-to-end payroll process, including both salaried and bi-weekly employees utilizing Paylocity.
Stay up-to-date on Paylocity software updates and best practice
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and benefits.
Administering employee benefits programs and responding to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding process, including facilitating new hire orientations.
Managing employee leave requests, time off, and attendance records.
Overseeing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Providing HR support to employees, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
Assisting in performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
Contributing to HR projects and initiatives that support the company's overall HR strategy.
Maintain service award program and other employee relations programs.
3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, with specific experience using Paylocity software
strong understanding of payroll principles and regulations
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
strong communication and interpersonal skills
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification a plus
