    As a manager operations, facilities you will impact the support partner experience by leading a team of partners and vendors to ensure the reliable operation of facility services at the Starbucks Support Center (SSC) including building equipment, systems for heating, ventilating, air conditioning, electrical, janitorial, and supply management.

    As a manager of facilities operations SSC, you will...

    • Develop and drive the future strategy for the team - You will lead the strategy for the work group by implementing new programs, processes, or vendor relationships that streamline operations and create a consistently positive partner experience. You will be responsible for continuing to improve how work is done by looking ahead at the evolving nature of how offices are used and matching services and support to the changing needs.

    • Manage the day-to-day facilities operations - You will negotiate contracts with key vendors, oversee preventative maintenance programs, and manage minor tenant improvement projects.You will develop and maintain standard operating procedures, clear documentation of roles and responsibilities across our various vendors and internal partner groups and will continuously look for process improvements opportunities within the daily work.

    • Partner with internal and external stakeholders - You will communicate and partner with internal stakeholders as well as the building landlord and property manager, ensuring roles and responsibilities are documented and clearly understood.This includes supporting Global Security & Risk on life safety and emergency preparedness programs with the landlord and property manager.

    • Improve the support partner experience - You will identify ways to measure performance and customer satisfaction as we strive to create welcoming workplace experiences. In support of our corporate sustainability goals, you will incorporate planet positive practices across the program.

    • Team leadership - You will set goals for the work team and actively provide partners with coaching, feedback and development opportunities while modeling leadership behavior for the larger team.

    • Managing and developing others, 7 years

    • Development of policies and programs in a growth organization, 5 years

    • Management of vendors and service providers, 5 years

    • Knowledge of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems (HVAC) and facilities repair and maintenance programs

    • Experience with janitorial and food & beverage service

    This role requires 5 days per week in office and flexibility to be on-call during off-hours. Location is based out of the Seattle Support Center and is relocation eligible.
