    Description:

    *According to established protocols, conducts clinical assessment of the patients health care status and needs and provides patient care to facilitate expected patient outcomes. Triages emergency walk in patients. Assesses patients for pre-operative clearance.

    • Performs routine physical examinations.

    • Compiles and evaluates medical histories and physical findings.

    • Establishes diagnoses and makes treatment recommendations to be reviewed by physician.

    • Displays compassion and understanding with patients consistent with Standard of Excellence principles. Responds appropriately to patient questions.

    • Prescribes and initiates diagnostic tests and procedures such as laboratory tests and radiologic

    procedures. Obtains physicians signature within twenty-four hours. * Checks off all CPT codes as procedures are completed (lab, injections, treatments, X-Rays)

    *Performs other duties within job scope as requested.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in Nursing is required.

    • Minimum of one year of post-licensure clinical nursing experience is required.

    • Priviliges and/or eligibility to apply are necessary.

    • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments is necessary.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

    Licensure:

    • Current licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida

    Current BLS Certification Required
