They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.

    Education Qualifications

    NP: Master's degree in nursing

    PA: Bachelor's degree in a health/science-related field

    Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

    Our Wahpeton team is looking for an Advanced Practice Clinician to join the Family Medicine Department. This patient-centered care team is quality-focused and service-oriented while working in collaboration with one another. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and have a passion for continuous learning and growth. The current team consists of 4 Internal Medicine and 5 Family Medicine providers, 2-General Surgeons, 1 Chiropractor, and 1 Optometrist in a newly remodeled clinic that also offers an Ambulatory Surgery Center on-site. The team continues to grow and expand services. The position will include:

    • 1.0 FTE, full-time status (36 patient contact hours; 4 hours professional time per week)

    • Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

    • Care for all ages (newborn through geriatric); mix of Same Day and Family Medicine

    • 16-20 patients per day

    • Established patient base

    • Interest in Orthopedic Sports Medicine desired

    • May also provide outreach support at our satellite clinics

    The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The NP/PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.EDUCATION/TRAINING:

    • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.

    LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

    • Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP).

    • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state.

    • Current certification in CPR

    • National certification, in applicable area.

    • Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.

    Pay Range

    $104728 - $125674 / year

    The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
