    Summary (Scope of the Job)

    Cotton Holdings is actively looking for a Project Manager for one of its subsidiaries, Advance Catastrophe Technologies, LLC. This person will lead and work alongside on-site personnel to provide quality work, meeting deadlines as communicated by EVP of Operations while keeping a high level of integrity and supporting a team environment. Successful candidates will have a background in project management, restoration and/or construction. Previous disaster relief experience is a plus.

    Key Responsibilities

    Major Responsibilities

    • Maintain consistent involvement in the commercial loss arena to ensure all project activities are fulfilled.

    • Monitor activity on all projects per the lead restoration technician and technician's feedback.

    • Estimating via Xactimate and T&M price lists.

    • Prepare insurance/non-insurance estimates (per ACT price lists) to be submitted to potential and existing clients.

    • Maintain awareness of day-to-day job costs as it pertains to labor, material, and equipment to insure maximum profitability on all ACT projects.

    • Assign new and existing sub-contractors per project to ensure activities are completed thoroughly and efficiently.

    • Confirm that all ACT required documents have been completed per the ACT service standards including but not limited to work authorizations, sub-contract forms, COCs, etc.

    • Project Manage nationwide restoration or reconstruction projects as assigned by the Vice President of Restoration.

    • Follow ACT Service Standards in response to nationwide losses.

    • Follow ACT invoicing and PM closeout procedures for nationwide losses.

    • Assist VP of Restoration in determining client hurricane coverage, deductibles, draw schedules and payment agreements as required.

    Weekly Job Responsibilities

    • Attend weekly PM and Client meetings.

    • Maintain documentation of job #'s on all receipts per the appropriate job # and turn in promptly.

    • Provide initial review/approval of accounts payable invoices for all restoration and reconstruction projects prior to submittal to VP of Operations.

    • Work in conjunction with the ERC to ensure appropriate job #'s/series are assigned to specific job types.

    • Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.

    • Attend all trainings as is appropriate.

    Monthly Job Responsibilities

    • Assist the Vice President of Restoration in completing the bi-monthly financial reports.

    Semi Annual Job Responsibilities

    • Assist VP of Restoration in activity of all large loss projects during hurricane season.

    • Maintain awareness of and work in conjunction with the large loss teams for hurricane response. This would include all CAT affiliates and other vendors required to fulfill our responsibility to respond to our clients' needs.

    • Per the VP of Restoration, assign responsibilities to the appropriate ACT employees to fulfill ACT's commitment to their clients.

    Yearly Job Responsibilities

    • Assist the Vice President of Restoration and President in developing a capital budget and identifying restoration needs for the next fiscal year for submittal to President and Board of Directors for approval.

    • Maintain applicable certifications and continuing education credits per IICRC, RIA and other relevant certifying bodies.

    Other Position Responsibilities

    • Attend ACT Inc staff meetings and department head meetings as required.

    • Complete required mileage sheets, expense sheets and other company related paperwork accurately and on time as required.

    • Travel as requested.

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

    Education

    • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

    • IICRC classes preferred.

    Experience

    • Proven Management experience

    • Strong construction/Mitigation knowledge

    Knowledge & Skills:

    • Demonstrated effective supervisory skills. Ability to motivate and direct the actions of others

    • Experience in project costing and planning

    • Working knowledge of Mitigation techniques and standard practices.

    • Outstanding communication skills

    • Proven ability to work under minimal direct supervision

    • Possess a thorough knowledge of safety standards

    • Office Suite experience (Microsoft Word, Excel)
