Manufacturing Engineer

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer near Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement on current manufacturing processes to improve efficiency

• Define new product manufacturing tooling and assembly line process and integrate into existing production system

• Utilize Industrial Engineering tools for operations and layout analysis; including time studies, ergonomic assessments, and throughput improvement

• Provide technical direction to and oversight of suppliers during design and fabrication of new tooling

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experienced using Autocad and Inventor in a mechanical/manufacturing setting

• Experienced updating and creating new mechanical CAD drawings

• Associates degree in drafting is preferred

• 3+ years experience in a similar role and manufacturing environment
