Maintenance Technician

Description:

As an Maintenance Technician, your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining equipment, and promoting a safe work environment. You support production schedules, conduct repairs, and communicate effectively with the team. Monitoring equipment, conducting maintenance tasks, and addressing safety requirements are key responsibilities. You also handle routine maintenance, ensure the functionality of motorized equipment, and troubleshoot electrical systems. Sharing your expertise, providing training, and optimizing repair approaches contribute to productivity. Accurate documentation and active participation in safety and team meetings help maintain strong internal relationships. Your dedication ensures the facility operates smoothly, benefiting the production team and the organization as a whole.

Mechanical- replacing and repacking bearings, swapping out pumps and motors, replacing rollers and gears, metal working and attaching machine parts

Electrical- wiring machines, checking voltage and faults, replacing and troubleshooting photo eyes/lasers, switch repairs

Hydraulic/Pneumatic- changing and rebuilding cylinders, replacing seals, replacing cylinders and solenoids

Using a laptop to diagnose machine faults

THE SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time position working nights, and we offer an alternating schedule that provides you with the flexibility of enjoying a three-day weekend every other week.

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday

• Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Skills:

maintenance technician, electrical, mechanical, millwright, electric motor, food grade

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, with experience in electrical, hydraulics, machine mechanics.

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
