  • JOB DESCRIPTION:

    We are currently hiring general production workers for our overnight shift. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about working in a manufacturing environment and looking to bring their skills to the next level. You will be assigned a trainer who will ensure you are learning the different processes of our manufacturing process and provide check-ins to ensure you are catching along. This role will include daily duties such as consistent inspections throughout the day, entering data into a computer, ensuring our line is running smoothly, and partnering with a technician who will be setting up the line, and performing change overs for new products. We work in a fast-paced setting and you must be comfortable with consistently having something to do. In the case of down time candidates will be expected to keep their workplace clean with organizing products, sweeping, and relieving others during their break time.

    MUST HAVE:

    • Good job tenure/work history cannot have jumpy work history

    • Must be ambitious, willing to learn, and interested in working within a manufacturing environment

    • Understanding of how to read a ruler and do basic math

    NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience working in a fast paced setting

    • Experience using micrometers and calipers

    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

    • Candidates will be working half of the days a typical work week looks like with built in OT every other week.

    • Upon completion of contract candidates will receive a pay bump from $18 > $19 or $20 depending on how much you have learned.

    • Good room for growth as they start as general production workers but can advance into Utility Technician > Set Up Technician > Lead Technician

    • Every candidate with be provided a locker on their first day for their personal belongings

    • Candidates will have multiple performance reviews to ensure they are catching on including the first one after 5 days of working, 3 month review, 6 month review, and then annual reviews which can result in raises.

    • With this being a 12 hour shift they will receive two 15 minute breaks that are paid for and one 30 minute lunch that is not paid for

    PAY RATE: $18.00/hr ($20/hr after 4 months)

    SCHEDULE:

    Night Shift Rotating Schedule - 7pm-7am. 2 days on, 2 days off.

    (This includes occasional weekend work)

    Benefits of this schedule? More hours = more money. 70 additional days off a year vs a typical M-F position.

    Interview Information

    Candidates will have a sit down interview with Michele the head of human resources and Joanne who is the production lead. They will ask questions surrounding why they want to get into manufacturing, what they know about the company, and if they have worked a third shift in the past. This will follow with a tour of their production floor. It is important to be paying close attention, ask questions about the manufacturing process, and being able to speak to why they are a strong fit.

    PPE:

    • Steel Toe Boots

    • Must be wearing jeans or dark dickies

    • Must wear a dark blue long sleeve shirt

    • Must be comfortable wearing a hairnet and ear plugs provided by the client

    • No jewelry

    • No acrylic nails, nail polish is okay, but must wear gloves

    • No strong fragrances

    • Must be comfortable wearing a bump cap
