    We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in Miami, Florida. This role is pivotal in our operations, overseeing the process of organizing and managing large scale, complex operations involving the dispatch, collection, and recovery of goods. The successful candidate will ensure that goods reach their destinations safely, on time, and in the most cost-effective manner.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations

    • Ensure premises, assets and communications are used effectively

    • Utilize logistics IT to optimize shipping and transport procedures

    • Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs

    • Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction

    • Prepare accurate reports for upper management

    • Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions for efficient resource management

    • Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites for documentation and record keeping

    • Handle customer service issues related to logistics and export shipments

    • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

    Requirements - Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

    • Experience with IBM AS/400

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

    • Familiarity with About Time software

    • Excellent customer service skills

    • Knowledge and experience in handling customs procedures

    • Experience in coordinating deliveries

    • Ability to handle documentation effectively

    • Experience in managing export shipments

    • Knowledge of import and export procedures

    • Prior experience in a logistics coordinator role or similar is preferred

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
