  • VCA Animal Hospital Burbank is seeking an experienced full-time Kennel Attendant to join our busy, AAHA-accredited, 3-doctor practice in Burbank, California.

    Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with superior multi-tasking abilities who is able to work well alone as well as in a team environment.

    Candidate must have prior animal handling experience, with big and small dogs as well as cats.

    You must be available to work rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

    The Kennel Attendant is responsible for caring for our boarding and hospitalized pets, including feeding, medicating, walking dogs, cleaning kennels and continually making each pet's stay a comfortable one. Also, responsible for daily texting to clients who have requested text updates while pet(s) are boarding.

    This position is also responsible for janitorial duties, including mopping, laundry, cleaning exam rooms between appointments, keeping the hospital and our property clean and presentable, and taking out the garbage among other assigned daily/weekly/monthly tasks.

    Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Compensation: $ 15.50 - $18.00 / hr
