IT Project Manager - Regular

Job Summary:

The IT Project Manager works closely with Client's external telecom vendors, as well as various internal stakeholders to support the global migration to Teams PBX (enterprise voice). This role will be focused on executing and realizing an efficient and successful migration of all current global PBX's to Microsoft Teams voice. This position is targeted as a twelve month opportunity.

Core Job Responsibilities :

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations

• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and develop contingency plans

• Escalating initiative issues and risks

• Plan and Track project milestones and deliverables.

• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.

• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.

• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents

• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

• When required, attend service cutovers, sometimes during evenings and/or weekends.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (Information Technology field preferred)

• Extensive Telecommunications background, preferably with prior experience in migrating a large enterprise to Microsoft Teams voice. Must be well versed in telecom concepts including carrier interactions, number porting, IP and analog telephony, physical cabling, international dial plan, etc.

• English proficiency (oral and written) is a requirement

• Prior experience with Microsoft Teams and its ecosystem.

• PMP or equivalent certification (Strongly preferred)

• Minimum of 10 years' direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution

• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Tasks by Planner.

• Good understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Methodologies

• Advanced MS Office, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint skills

• Strong presentation and written skills to tailor the message to the appropriate level of audience

• Ability to understand complex business flows
