    Our client, a leading global provider of innovative supply chain solutions, is looking for a Inventory Technician to join their team.

    Hours: Day shift. Candidates need to be flexible with starting times. 7-7:30 - 8-8:30.

    9 hours days with every other Friday off.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a strong knowledge of products including but not limited to hardware, chemicals, tooling, and electric components, services, inventory systems, quality requirements, and customer plans

    • Monitor production floor bins and storage cabinets to determine when replenishment of stock

    • Perform inventory inspections and analysis

    • Perform regularly scheduled reading and maintain matching units to the required standards in compliance with customer and regulatory standards

    • Conduct complex analysis/sampling and review of chemical compatibility to determine potential required actions to conform to customer requirements and industry regulations

    • Perform chemical additions to process tanks per written guidance

    • Ensure availability and coordinate delivery of necessary chemicals

    • Utilize hand scanners to scan stocking locations on the customer site and transmit replenishment orders for processing

    • Receive and verify product and documentation to ensure accuracy of inventory required for the customer specifications and site

    • Gather, deliver, and stock inventory storage cribs and fill bins/cabinets on the customer site

    • Level load production floor bins as necessary

    • Utilize pallet jacks, drum dollies, drive forklifts, and/or order pickers when trained/certified

    • Maintain floor cleanliness, apply labels, and repair or replace bins, cabinets, and racks as required

    • Respond to hazardous materials releases and provide spill cleanup according to standards while utilizing and interpreting chemical detection devices and associated equipment

    • Communicate part expedites, quality issues, and or other problems to the On Site Representative, Supervisor, or Program Manager

    • Able to travel as necessary between customer sites

    Job Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED Required; college degree preferred

    • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant inventory management, material handling, and production experience

    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience pertaining to chemical compatibility preferred
