Job Title: Information Systems Specialist

Location: Big Bay, MI

Pay: $22.00 per Hour

What's the Job?

• Entry-level operational support role with a primary focus on information systems infrastructure, including network and desktop environments.

• Provide internal consulting to the end user team.

• Support the acquisition and maintenance of computer equipment, hardware, and operating systems software to meet organizational requirements.

• Follow all local and corporate standards in configuration and documentation.

• Assist End Users with maintaining their laptops, desktops, desk phone, cell phone in a working and current state.

What's Needed?

• Temporary assignment for around 6 months, full time M-F 40 hours.

• 3 years of professional work experience in systems support; networking and telecommunications preferred.

• Experience supporting a 400+ user environment preferred.

• Windows Active Directory experience desired (including DNS, DCHP, Group Policy, and Security Management).

• Working knowledge of: Enterprise Network Security, MS-Office and Windows Support, Exchange end user support, VPN and Terminal Services, VoIP, Knowledge of Cisco Routers and Switches, Knowledge of Cisco Firewalls and rules, Installing Print Drivers, Understanding of Networking, Security, Operating Systems, Storage Solutions and Web servers.

• This position requires occasional travel to satellite offices.

• Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends when upgrades or projects require.

• Possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
