Our location in Charlottesville, VA, currently has an opportunity for an Implementation Specialist 1 is within our Cardiometabolic & Informatics business unit. This role will be responsible for supporting the administration and maintenance of the organization's information systems (for example, UNIX, NT) by following established guidelines to ensure that they function reliably and in accordance with user needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Administer and maintain information systems and associated hardware according to technical specifications so that the organization's information systems function reliably.

• Works under direct supervision to investigate and troubleshoot basic problems to resolve user problems quickly and satisfactorily.

• If necessary, communicate with system users and escalate system problems to more senior staff.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Required

• High School Diploma or GED

• 2 years of related work experience

Preferred

• Experience with Hospital Point of Care software methodologies preferred.

• Experience in successful cross functional collaboration

• Knowledge of project management practices

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects and meet deadlines

• The ability to learn, process and apply technical knowledge. To analyze, reason and to evaluate and solve technical issues.

• Remote desktop experience

• Software upgrades experience

• Helpdesk experience
