    We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in Santa Barbara, California, for a General Office Clerk. The role involves a blend of customer engagement and warehouse management duties in a bustling office environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in assisting customers with their architectural visions, managing warehouse inventory, and coordinating product shipments.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist incoming customers with their architectural visions, providing exceptional customer service

    • Leverage sales skills to promote and sell products, while also maintaining knowledge of our products and architectural terminology

    • Manage the warehouse, which includes tracking inventory and ordering new inventory when necessary

    • Ensure products are prepared for deployment and assist with the business's location transition

    • Collaborate with the team to coordinate product shipments

    • Handle the physical aspects of the role, which involves moving product to load and unload

    • Maintain an organized and efficient work environment in both customer-facing and warehouse areas

    • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, providing knowledgeable and timely responses

    Skills

    • Familiarity with Warehouse Duties

    Requirements - Proficiency in general office duties such as filing, sorting, and managing records.

    • Experience in warehouse duties, including inventory management and order processing.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

    • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Ability to adapt and learn new tasks or processes quickly.

    • Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

    • Must be authorized to work in the country without any restrictions.

    • Availability to work on weekends if required.
