FP&A Manager

Job Description

An employer is seeking an FP&A Manager to support their internal corporate financial team at their headquarters in Belcamp, MD. Below is a brief summary of day to day responsibilities:

Responsibilities

* Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting process, as well as ongoing forecasting efforts to enable the organization to deliver on key objectives

* Responsible for financial reporting, including monthly comparison of actual vs. budget results and relevant variance analysis, in a timely and accurate manner

* Create monthly reporting packages for management and private equity sponsor

* Montior weekly cash forecasting tool

* Performs comprehensive financial analyses, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to evaluate performance and identify opportunities

* Responsible for driving alignment between financial planning and analysis and project controls by working with the departments ensuring that the FP&A function is providing the information and insights that management receives proper insight on financial status

* Proactively drive analyses of business performance and results and provide thoughtful, informed recommendations

* Support accounting team, as needed

Skills and Requirements

BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance

7-10 years of FP&A experience in A&D

Proven success as an FP&A leader in a high growth environment

Strong working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint CPA Certified null
