Forklift Operator

Description:

The forklift operator will be responsible for the following job duties on the receiving dock

• Running sit down forklifts to unload shipments coming in on trucks and stage them for put away
• Utilize RF scanning equipment to scan bar codes on wrapped skids and enter the shipment into the warehouse management system
• Use stand up reach trucks (Crown) and cherry picker forklifts (Yale, Crown) to take skids from staging areas to the warehouse for put away

***SPECIFICALLY LOOKING FOR "stand-up reach" preferably Crown brand (silver grey color) EXPERIENCE

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Best vs. Average candidate- Someone with at least 1 year of prior forklift experience is required but 2+ years is preferred. If someone has prior stand up Crown forklift experience and has prior shipping and receiving in the below functions they would be a great fit. * Loading and unloading trucks * Running sit down and stand up forklift * Using RF scanning equipment * Entering received shipments into warehouse
