    This Financial Analyst role via Robert Half may be a great fit for candidates with excellent communication skills and prior experience in finance. Are you interested in working at a manufacturing company with a growing team? Responsibilities will be comprised of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. The Financial Analyst role is a permanent employment opportunity in the Waller, Texas. A dynamic team is seeking a key business partner to join their efforts.     Your responsibilities

    • Prepare and distribute monthly P& L reports for the company's Systems and Services divisions including reports by district, by product line and reports comparing P& L results to forecasts.

    • Analyze P& L results compared to forecast and investigate and explain significant variances.

    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts.

    • Assist in the preparation and submission of required monthly financial reports into the corporate consolidation system by established deadlines.

    • Assist in the preparation of financial information for presentations to management and the corporate office as needed.

    • Ensure all corporate reporting requirements are met within established deadlines.

    • Assist in the automation of reporting.

    • Prepare financial and operational Power BI reports.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

    • Certified Public Account certification (CPA) or Finance certification preferred.

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

    • 3+ years' experience in financial reporting role or financial analyst role

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Advanced MS Excel skills required.

    • Strong database and SQL server skills and report-writing

    • Power BI reporting skills preferred.

    • Valid driver's license

    • Solid understanding of accounting and management accounting principles

    • Knowledge of profit & loss statement, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting.

    • Understanding of various financial KPIs

    • Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol screen.

    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.

    • Ability to apply concepts of basic math.

    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

    • Proficient personal computer skills including MS Office, electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

    • Familiarity with SQL server databases and queries required.

    • Ability to create Power BI reports preferred.

    • Knowledge of SAP manufacturing module preferred but not required.

    • Knowledge of MS Dynamics Business Central preferred but not required.
