Field Service Technician (Hiring ASAP)

Description:

Candidates will be responsible for installation/troubleshooting and maintenance on Oxy plasma cutters, lasers, and other fabrication equipment across manufacturing facilities across the US. Strong electrical, installation knowledge while being able to read blueprints and schematics. Use of tools and work with customers to troubleshoot problems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Experience with Plasma, Laser and Oxyfuel cutting process preferred Experience with multi-axis CNC machines preferred Experienced with the proper handling and safety procedures while handling of 480VAC Experienced interpreting mechanical layout drawings, electrical schematics and bills of materials Familiar with the use of power and construction tools, such as: hammer drills, impact guns and cordless drills Strong oral communication skills Strong customer service skills, with a "customer first" mindset Self-motivated and ability to work independently NOTE: This position requires 95-100% travel, frequently on short notice.
