Family Nurse Practitioner Primary Care

Requirements: 

• Master?s degree as an Advanced Practice Provider ? Nurse Practitioner or as an Advanced Practice Provider ? Physician Assistant 
• Licensed to practice in Texas as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certified 
• At least 1 year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in an out-patient clinical setting 
• Valid TX Driver?s license 

Preferences

• Preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) 
• Preferred Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified
• Preferred experience working in family planning medical clinics
• Preferred experience with IUD & Nexplanon 

Job Duties: Responsibilities include completing and reviewing health histories, performing physical examinations, reviewing, and ordering appropriate lab tests and immunizations, ordering and monitoring prescribed medications, making referrals to other providers, assisting with training new clinical staff, and other duties, as necessary
