    Sodexo is seeking a Executive Chef 3- Suites for The University of Texas Austin located in Austin,Texas ! This Executive Chef will lead the culinary excellence in the suites at the University of Texas Austin during football and baseball events. As the Executive Sous Chef - Suites, you will be the creative force behind our culinary endeavors for the suites department. Elevate the hospitality experience for our distinguished suite guests by developing tantalizing menus that blend innovation with classic favorites. Your leadership will guide our culinary team in delivering impeccable service during high-profile football and baseball events. From menu planning to quality assurance, you'll ensure every culinary detail exceeds expectations, leaving a lasting impression on the Longhorn community.

    • Culinary Innovation: Spearhead the creation of exquisite menus that captivate and delight suite guests, showcasing your culinary artistry.

    • Leadership: Oversee and inspire a team of culinary professionals, setting the standard for excellence in execution and service.

    • Menu Planning: Collaborate with the culinary team to curate diverse and seasonally inspired menus tailored to meet the preferences of our esteemed suite guests.

    • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, adhering to both Sodexo and University of Texas Austin guidelines.

    • Event Collaboration: Work closely with event coordinators and hospitality teams to guarantee seamless execution of culinary services during football and baseball events.

    The successful candidate will:

    • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;

    • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;

    • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;

    • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or

    • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

    Basic Management Experience - 3 years

    Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
