    Job Overview:

    A unique opportunity for a developing engineer to gain strong constructability experience, build their communication skills by working with multiple disciplines, and lay the foundations for growth in fields such as project and design engineering, construction management, project management, and project controls.

    Field Engineer who will plan turnaround and project scope through estimating, scheduling, material ordering and management, and field package development. Will work hand-in-hand with field supervisors, reliability engineers, and weld engineers in the planning process and will have a majority field presence during the work events. Will also work with client coordinators on deliverable schedules and field execution management.

    Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

    • Detailed job planning for mechanical crews and supporting craft in an oil refinery maintenance turnaround

    • Generation and/or verification of control estimates

    • Generation and/or verification of detailed project schedules

    • Assembly of material, equipment and special tool bills of material, as required per specific scope

    • Generation of craft work execution packages including Safety plans and other specialty documentation as required per specific scope

    • Provide construction management during work execution through communication to, and coordination with, lead craft supervision, supporting crafts and Client representatives.

    • Provide updates to Client project controls through progress reporting and change management

    • Other duties as assigned

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Must have 1+ years' experience of related field of experience.

    • Must be able to work in the field in all types of field conditions/weather.

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management required.

    • Climbing ladders, working at heights, field presence will be required.

    • Some overtime and weekend work will be required to meet project deadlines.

    • Communicates information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

    • Must have valid driver's license.

    • Demonstrated experience filing electronic and paper documents.

    • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel to create and edit reports.

    • Ability to provide exceptional service to customers.

    • Strong ethics, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress, engage in continuous learning.
