Job Title : Electro Mechanic

Location: Eddystone, Pa

Hours/Schedule: A- shift Sun-Mon-Tues 6a-6p every other Wed 6a-6p

Pay: 34/hour (Starting based on experience)

Type: Contract (Extendable)

Overview

Established and growing Food Manufacturing Company is seeking to add an Electro Mechanic to their team. Local, motivated individuals who have 3-5 years of experience should Apply ASAP!

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of plant equipment to support production

• Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance of site operations

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems on manufacturing equipment

• Repair electronic components and controls

• Diagnose complex equipment failures across various systems

• Coordinate projects, occasionally working with external vendors

• Utilize sophisticated software and test equipment

• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding equipment issues

• Manage work orders using computerized maintenance system

• Perform scheduled maintenance activities and identify improvement opportunities

• Adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines, including GMP and HACCP

• Assist in training new employees and maintaining a safe work environment

• Participate in safety training programs and maintain proper documentation of repairs

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent in electromechanical technology or similar field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience

• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, including AC and DC voltages, and PLCs

• Ability to read and edit VFD configurations, blueprints, P&ID diagrams, and sketches

• Skilled in troubleshooting processes and repairing equipment throughout the facility

• Strong ability to comprehend complex technical documentation

• Proficient in using PCs and relevant software

• Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. and working from elevated platforms

• Able to work independently and in team environment, manage tasks effectively, and handle a multitasking workload with minimal supervision
