    We are looking for a future caregiver to take on the role of Director of Corporate Development - Florida Market within our world-class team of caregivers. Within this role, you will secure philanthropic gifts through a process of identifying, qualifying, strategizing, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift prospects. This role supports corporate fundraising efforts throughout the Cleveland Clinic Florida Market.

Responsibilities:

    • Achieves significant dollar goals and the success of campaigns for capital, programmatic, research, endowment and operating support for CCF.

    • Supervises and mentors Assistant Directors as directed.

    • Identifies individual major gift prospects using various databases, trustees, physicians and other staff members.

    • Develops cultivation and solicitation strategies for each individual.

    • Establishes a program of personal visits with past, current and prospective donors.

    • Advises donors as to the financial options available, Foundation projects and needs.

    • Develops funding proposals.

    • Completes transfer of funds, property, etc. to the Foundation.

    • Coordinates stewardship reports to communicate with donors concerning the use of their gifts.

    • Assists in department projects, events and programs in conjunction with Foundation needs.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree.

    • Advanced degree and or five years experience in sales, marketing or related field may offset total years experience.

    Certifications:

    • None required.

    Work Experience:

    • Demonstrated success and experience in major gifts fund-raising strategies for cultivation and direct solicitation.

    • Minimum five years experience in fund-raising and direct solicitation and capital campaign environment.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    • Ability to establish and maintain friendly and cooperative relations with individuals contacted during the course of work, (e.g., corporate executives, donors, staff physicians, etc.).

    • Ability to perform well in a collaborative environment.

    • Knowledge of planned giving vehicles preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.

    • Ability to lift and transport up to 15 pounds.

    • May require extended periods of standing, walking or sitting.

    • Good visual ability through normal or corrected vision.

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

    Pay Range

    Minimum hourly: $44.53

    Maximum hourly: $67.92

    The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
