    What You'll Do:

    In this role you will develop and implement strategies to capture and expand Serta and Simmons hospitality contracts internationally. Using your strong partnership capabilities, you will accomplish this by coordinating the needs of international hotel brands (hotels outside of the US and CAN) with the capabilities of international licensees who service those hotels. As a relentless communicator, you will regularly meet with licensees and hotels regionally to work through pipelines of projects in country

    How You'll Do It:

    Business Development

    • Identifies, researches and develops potential prospects, and maintains regular contact with established accounts in order to ensure superior sales service, customer satisfaction, and identification of additional sales opportunities. Handles any necessary, timely follow-up needed with accounts in order to close sales for licensing partners and SSB.

    • Explores how to maximize hospitality business with licensees & drive these initiatives from start to finish.

    • Plans and attends appropriate trade shows, promotional activities and training programs as needed. Assists with Plant tours of Licensees and training in accordance with general Company Marketing guidelines.

    • Maintains knowledge of current trends and regulations globally in the mattress sales and hospitality fields, including international requirements for tariffs, taxes and customs.

    • Completes required paperwork around hotel rebates and royalties on a timely basis. Licensee invoicing of hospitality fees and rebates every quarter with Finance team

    Partner Management (Hotel brands and International Licensees)

    • Works closely with Hospitality brand and procurement teams and licensees to align on strategies and projects to grow Serta and Simmons brands internationally

    • Develops effective working relationships with international Licensees in order to ensure on-time and in-full fulfillment of sales orders. Communicates specific terms and conditions of sales orders as well as any other special issues related to accounts on a timely basis and follows up with the Licensees and the account as needed. Responds to issues or concerns promptly, troubleshoots and resolves issues and follows up as needed.

    • Collaborates with licensees to deliver compliance with contractual terms (including financial audits, quality process audits) and relevant documentation required for hospitality

    • Support SSB US-focused hospitality team efforts to grow global partnerships with key accounts (Marriott, Hilton, IHG)

    What You'll Bring:

    • Must have experience in these areas: hospitality sales or procurement, bedding or related industry.

    • Preferred experience in international business, business development, account management, and licensing.

    • Ability to develop and maintain positive, productive relationships with key members of management for National/Global hospitality accounts and with international licensees.

    • Effective communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills to work effectively with external and internal contacts.

    • Demonstrated multicultural sensitivity with understanding of different customs and more.

    • Ability to effectively represent the Company and SSB products and services to dealers, vendors and other external contacts.

    • Ability to influence and possession of creative and innovative aptitude related to sales and marketing activities.

    Education/Experience:

    • 5+ years consumer product sales experience

    • Bachelor's degree (Masters desired) in international business or related field

    • Ability to obtain a US passport

    • Excellent customer service and negotiation skills

    • Intermediate spreadsheet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint) and internet research skills

    • Proficient organizational, analytical, time management, planning, and project management skills

    • Fluent in English, preference for fluency in second language / bi-cultural background

    Travel Requirement:

    50%-60% international travel

Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
