Role Overview:

As the Director of Business Intelligence , you will be responsible for spearheading data driven actionable insights, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility, and automating board-level reporting. You will also play a critical role in fostering organizational alignment around business metrics and definitions, enabling consistent and informed decision-making across the company. Your role will encompass overseeing the development and implementation of robust data governance practices, ensuring data access is seamless and secure, and providing actionable insights to key stakeholders across the organization. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping our data culture and driving improved business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Data Governance: Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework, including data quality standards, data privacy, and compliance policies.

• Data Access: Ensure that all relevant teams have access to the data they need to make informed decisions while maintaining data security and privacy.

• Insights Generation: Lead a team of analysts and data architects to extract actionable insights from data, translating complex information into clear, concise reports.

• Data Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a data strategy aligned with our business objectives.

• Automated Board Reporting: Implement automation solutions for board-level reporting, streamlining the delivery of key performance metrics to executive leadership.

• Metrics Standardization: Work closely with departments to establish and maintain standardized business metrics and definitions, fostering organizational alignment.

• Reporting and Visualization: Oversee the creation of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that enable stakeholders to track performance and make data-driven decisions.

• Data Architecture: Work with IT teams to design and maintain a scalable data architecture that supports our analytics needs.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executives and department heads to understand their data needs and provide guidance on how data can drive better decision-making.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of business intelligence professionals.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, implementing best practices to enhance our data capabilities.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred).

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.

• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful data governance and data access strategies.

• Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data warehousing concepts.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
