Description Well-established regional bank is seeking an experienced financial controller to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, extensive banking industry experience, and a proven track record of driving financial excellence. Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close processes. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices within the banking industry. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and management reports. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory guidelines. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize efficiency within the finance department. Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and detail oriented development.
