    Responsibilities

    • The Configuration Management Analyst, Journeyman provides support to PMA-205 at the Patuxent River, MD Naval Aviation Training Systems Program Office. The Configuration Management Analyst will be a member of the IPT and shall provide Configuration Management/Data Management (CM/DM) support in accordance with established processes.

    • Collects, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft training systems.

    • Maintains configuration control of acquisition products and data.

    • Tracks configuration changes.

    • Coordinates and supports development of Engineering Change Proposals.

    • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree.

      • OR
    • Associate's degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the description and duties/responsibilities sections of the labor category may be substituted for a master's degree.

      • OR
    • Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the description and duties/responsibilities sections of the labor category may be substituted for a master's degree.

    • Experience:

    • Three (3) - Ten (10) years of experience performing the items listed under duties and responsibilities.

    • A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently.

    • Other Requirements:

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

    • Desired Qualifications:

    • At least 3 - 5 years of experience supporting NAVAIR / PMA programs in understanding and experience with government databases and data entry.

    • Proficiency using CMPRO.

    • Possesses both analytical and interpersonal skills.

    • Good problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills/techniques.

    • Business Partner/Effective Communicator:

    • English language skills to communicate and negotiate with vendors.

    • Strong communicator must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally.

    • Ability to train, lead projects, direct employees.

    • Customer service oriented, detail focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability.

    • Software:

    • Microsoft Office Suite

    • Excel

    • Outlook

    • SharePoint

    • Teams

    • Computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.
