CNC Machinist

Oil and Gas company, manufactures plastic and rubber parts to support downstream operations. Currently looking for five CNC Lathe Machinists that have the ability to operate one or more CNC or manual machines to fabricate production parts to print specifications and quality standards in accordance with company schedules, policies and procedures. Learns to operate CNC machines Haas and MAZAK under heavy supervision to fabricate plastic parts. This is a job shop candidate may run 2 to 3 set ups per shift or 2 to 3 set ups a week, depending on clients request. They also have doosan 600 and doosan 400 lathe 4-axis. Programs and operate VMC mills (Haas or Mazak) preferably to machine plastics, metal and rubber components.

For plastics we expect from an experienced machinist to know Mazak Lathe (Mazatrol). You must know how to use measurement tools like Pi-Tapes, Calipers, Micrometers any type, CMM , Optical Comparators. Must read blueprints and be able to edit programs on the machine. If the applicant is just a bottom pusher then he must know how to set up tools and do tool data.

We are in need of Mill and Mazak lathe machinist on 2nd shift.
