    Please Note: This position requires extensive national travel for onsite customer education and training. (85+%/4-5 days per week including overnights and some weekends within US and Canada (USCAN) via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, train etc.) as necessary). The individual in this position will ideally be located near a major airport (Charlotte - CLT).

    As a Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) supporting the GE Healthcare imaging applications team, you will deliver clinical and operational expertise by providing excellent education and training supporting for the PET modality. As a clinical expert, you will be responsible for enhancing the customer experience by providing effective education and training solutions.

    As the PET Clinical Applications Specialist, you will drive and execute clinical education training strategies and provide didactic training through the implementation of university style curricula and support customer with onsite and remote training. Your efforts will impact our customer's ability to improve productivity, patient care and quality by optimizing their technical & clinical competencies, image quality, workflow, and protocol management.

    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Develop product, clinical, and software knowledge, skills, and competence within the PET modality.

    • Correlates theoretical knowledge with clinical and product information to provide clinicians with the knowledge and the skills to obtain optimal performance from their GE Healthcare equipment

    • Provides pre-sale product clinical evaluations and/or educational sessions to potential customers In partnership with customers, develop and administer clinical training to the end-user personnel aligned with sales order agreement (SOA) to deliver excellent clinical education to achieve high Net Promotor Scores (NPS).

    • Collaborate and coordinate the delivery of customer training with a targeted integrated account management approach including sales, project management, and other service organization teams in accordance with the SOA/terms and conditions

    • Drive realization of revenue thru execution of on-site or remote clinical education delivery Produce comprehensive, consistent and timely completion of documentation requirements pre through post training

    • Provide ongoing post-installation training and support as needed over the lifecycle of the product.

    • Maintain customer relationships through proactive touches and communicate all relevant product and/or customer concerns or opportunities to the Management team, Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Loyalty Leads, and Technical Support regarding technical and clinical issue or how to improve the quality of the product or overall product offerings.

    • Coordinate, schedule, and execute objective based system training for your customers: monitor and report on training outcomes.

    • Serve as a subject matter expert in the PET modality and technical liaison to the sales organization with the goal of strengthening technical capabilities of the team and customer relationships, while also driving business opportunities forward.

    • Advance new product (NPI) features and clinical techniques; partner with customers in developing training plans / strategies that support new product assimilation in the PET modality and ongoing training needs.

    • Act as focal point for modality / team, identify customer satisfaction issues, assist in escalations, problem determination and specialty training requests.

    • Develop meaningful relationships with your customers (highlighting key opinion leaders (KOLs) where necessary) to standardize and optimize protocols and support our clinical education initiatives.

    • Embrace and promote adoption of hybrid training delivery mindset for your customer. Maintain required well-written pre and post training documentation in conjunction with global guidance.

    • Demonstrate safety first and quality mindset, maintaining applicable processes as part of the Quality Management System and EHS policies and procedures.

    • Provide Demo activities/support with commercial counterparts, where applicable.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 4 years of imaging experience with at least 3 years of PET modality experience

    • ARRT or equivalent specific Nuclear Medicine or PET modality certification.

    • Comfortable in a clinical/patient environment.

    • Required to travel extensively 90+% (4-5 days per week including overnights and some weekends) within US and Canada (USCAN) via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, train etc.) as necessary for onsite customer education and training.

    • Proficient use of software applications, such as, Windows Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and navigating other computer and web-based tools (intranet/internet/apps)

    • Ability to learn specialized industry specific software and provide digital education and training solutions

    • Will be required to register with one or more vendor credentialing services by various customer hospitals. This requires, but not limited to, proof of immunization for mumps, measles and rubella(MMR) and hepatitis and drug testing /screening.

    • Bachelor's degree completion or equivalency.

    • 4+ years of technical/clinical industry experience. 3Years of PET modality experience.

    • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification.

    • Demonstrated experience working on GE Healthcare systems.

    • Deep understanding of clinical education training and associated process implementation.

    • Demonstrated experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on audience.

    • Willingness to travel extensively 90+% (4-5 days per week including overnights and some weekends) within the US and Canada via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, & train, etc.).

    Desired Characteristics

    • 5+ years clinical experience

    • 3+ years experience with GE Healthcare PET modality scanners

    • Strong verbal communication. Able to communicate complex clinical content in an easy to understand manner.

    • Strong and effective teaching and presentation skills

    • Strong organizational skills to sustain in a dynamic environment. Ability to multi-task and make independent decisions while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing priorities. Possess stress tolerance.
