    Monday-Friday 1 day a week will work 11:30 am-8:00 pm

    Other 4 days will be 8:00 am-5:00 pm

    Certified Medical Assistant

    Complete the patient intake process, assists clinicians with daily care, performs various medical tasks (vital signs) and documents information in the medical record

    Assist the clinician with administrative tasks including faxing and phoning in prescriptions, calling for reports and records, and collecting and relaying lab

    information

    Supervision is provided by clinicians, RN's, and the clinical nursing manager

    Able to assist all ages - Newborn to Geriatrics

    Qualifications

    Medical Assistant certificate of completion and MUST be Registered/Certified through one of the accredited organizations below:

    • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

    • American Medical Technologists (AMT)

    • National Health Career Association (NHA)

    • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

    • National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)

    • American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)

    Minimum of 6 months of medical assistant experience in Internal medicine, Primary Care, or Pediatrics Specialties

    MUST hold an active BLS CPR

    Experience with EMR systems
