    The Category Manager is responsible to develop, implement and lead the sourcing strategy and operating plan for selected suppliers in our Maternal Infant Care business. The scope of the role is managing $45M spend, 30 suppliers worldwide across two design centers (Wauwatosa, WI and Bangalore) and three manufacturing sites (Bangalore, Juarez and Madison, WI) with active support from extended sourcing and SME teams.

    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Support various electronic and mechanical categories and work cross functionally with central category team to align with Maternal Infant Care priorities.

    • Category driven activities to include contracts, negotiations, should costing, cross product category strategy across MIC.

    • De-risk supplier base proactively, from identifying the risk to executing the mitigation plan, in partnership with the MIC business team.

    • Select strategic suppliers for any NPI, supplier transfer, FMI and get suppliers ready to deliver targeted business requirements (quality, fulfillment, cost and cash) per the program milestones, inpartnership with the supplier management, supply chain and engineering teams.

    • Drive product cost down by 10% year over year ($4.5M approximate annual cost out) through supplier negotiation and design change ideas, partnering with engineering and manufacturing with a total cost mindset and support logistic cost out initiative.

    • Support supplier quality, ensuring supplier compliance with FDA, EHS, transportation and other regulatory and reputation requirements and support supplier and parts quality initiatives.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management.

    • Minimum 8 years' experience in commodity management

    • Experience in Sourcing, supplier management or operations

    • Travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of time.

    • work in a Hybrid pattern (3 days onsite - Milwaukee, WI).

    • Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs.

    • Ability to drive long strategic partnerships with suppliers and demonstrated experience in optimizing supplier base performance- Quality, Fulfillment, Cost, Cash and Contract.

    • Experience working effectively with cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams.
